I invested in a Nektar SE25 Midi Controller, the same one in the photo above. It is an amazing little keyboard and has a lot of potential. I have also invested in a full-sized digital piano with 88 keys that can also hook up to my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I use Reaper and Soundtrap.
I have chosen to work with several software companies so that I can create what I need for my work as a Singer.
- Stablehost – Website Hosting (Approx. $20 per Month)
- Song Secure – Timestamps (Approx. $20 per Month)
- Soundtrap – Online DAW (Approx. $40 per Month)
- Canva – Online Graphic Design Software (Approx. $20 per Month)
- Vidu – Online AI Video Software (Approx. $20 per Month)
- Reaper – DAW (Free to Use in Perpetual Evaluation Mode)
I have organised my schedule to learn Music Production over the next couple of months and I have also made room to address other goals I have with my music. I need to produce my own instrumentals and I also need to create a more professional sound for my vocals.
I have learned to use scales and warm up my vocals through Ken’s Vocal Academy, something I never did before. I realise my mistake in this and it is the one thing that has made my previous vocals sound amateurish.
All in all, I am going to be quite busy over the coming few weeks as I attempt to learn and work it out as I go.
